Guilt Free Honeycomb

This delicious treat will really satisfy those sweet cravings. It is made with delicious honey, which has a number of health benefits, sweetener and a little bicarbonate of soda and can be ready to eat in less than 15 minutes. The kids will love this and it a great one to help them make.


2 Tablespoons Honey

4 Tablespoons Granulated Sweetener

1 1/2 Teaspoons Bicarbonate of Soda


Line a baking tray with grease proof paper.

Pour the honey into a pan to melt and mix in the sweetener and bring to the boil for 2 minutes, stirring continuously. This should now be a light golden colour.

Quickly add the bicarbonate of soda and gently mix, the honeycomb should start foaming up, once foam is filling up inside the pan quickly turn into the lined tray and place in the fridge for 5-10 minutes.

Tip: for an extra special treat melt a little white chocolate or your favourite chocolate and pour over honeycomb and return to the fridge.

The Honeycomb is easy to break up by hand.
