Mexican Burger Melt
These delicious burgers are so easy to make and taste so good.! Perfect for a weekend takeaway or midweek treat. The whole family will love them!
450g Minced Beef (5% fat)
1 Small Onion Finely Chopped
6 Mushrooms Sliced
50g Mexican or Chilli Cheese divided into 4
Divide the Mince into 4 portions, then divide each portion into 2. Using a burger press or shape by hand, squeeze the first 1/2 of the Mince into a burger shape. Fry the onions and mushrooms and place a small amount on top of the Mince base. Add 1/4 of the Mexican cheese then top with the second half of the Mince, pressing together in the burger press or by hand.
Gently fry in a non stick pan or griddle pan turning occasionally for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through and cheese has melted in the middle.
Delicious served with salad on a Wholemeal bap or on their own.
