Power House Biscuits

These tasty oat biscuits are packed with sunflower and pumpkin seeds giving them extra protein plus healthy oils. The Greek yogurt in this recipes adds a healthy portion of probiotics and gut friendly properties making them a delicious and tasty treat the whole family can enjoy.

Ingredients


200g Porridge Oats

50g Sunflower Seeds

50g Pumpkin Seeds

200g Fat Free Greek Yogurt

20g Granulated Sweetener

50g Coconut Oil Melted

1 Teaspoon Flavouring of Your Choice

(I used caramel)


Mix the porridg, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and sweetener together. Add the yogurt and melted coconut oil along with a teaspoon of flavouring.

Mix well with your hands then roll into 20 balls. Place on lined baking tray and flatten into rounds with your fingers.


Cook in a preheated oven at 180 Degrees for 15-20 minutes until golden. Leave to cool on a baking rack. Store in an airtight container once cooled.
